We are looking for a talented and skilled Chief Electrical and Automation Engineer in Lime & Dololime Plant to join our multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. Responsible for planning and execute all Electrical and Automation field related works for Lime Plant and oversees the maintenance of plant machinery and its equipment. To Analyze observes, organizes, plans and ensures the plant maintenance related activities established and implemented in order to prevent untimely breakdown. Ensures all machines & equipment are in good working order.
Duties may include but will not be limited to:
- To make, review regularly and establishes the planned preventive maintenance plan and initiate necessary revision to improve equipment availability.
- Controls Electrical & Automation maintenance budget and improvements in cost effective manner.
- Reporting about major potential failures, problems with action plan for the repairs to the higher level to finalize the immediate opportunity for attending the issues.
- Prepare, review and establish economic level of spares and material stock.
- Ensures and supervises the effective repair planning and major overhauls to acceptable standards.
- Prepare maintenance reports and check and approve the permits, purchase requisition slips, material issue slips etc.
- Technical review and recommendation for all project/ Spares/ Equipments for Lime Plant related offers from the OEM Suppliers. Design review and Scope defining of the Technological Supplier. Responsible for Project planning and monitoring the execution of work.
- To enforce staff disciplines and ensure high standard of maintenance housekeeping and plant cleanliness.
- Performs other tasks given by superior time to time.
- Evaluate the individual performance of subordinates and identify the training needs and design training program to improve the capability of each individual.
- Promotes safety consciousness among the subordinates and undertakes all necessary control measures to ensure safety of equipment and personnel.
- To work as per company regulations.
Bachelor's degree or higher – Electrical Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Must have 8-10 years or more of experience in project execution and maintenance of Electrical machines and Automation in Lime Plant
Sound technical knowledge in Plant automation i.e. PLC, DC & AC drives, and related software and equipment
